Lahore: The police in Lahore have arrested the kingpin of a notorious female thieving gang, and they have recovered more than Rs. 10 million worth of property, including gold ornaments and mobile phones. A police spokesperson said that the Iqbal Town Investigation police arrested the professional criminal during an intelligence-based operation. A further recovery was made upon her confession, 40 tolas gold, high-value mobile phones, and other valuables were discovered in her possession as a result of her confession. According to the Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation Iqbal Town, the suspect, along with her accomplices, entered the houses on the pretext of domestic workers, looted things when the house owner was not in there, distracted, and fled away. She reportedly confessed to doing stolen work in different localities of the Lahore city. According to police officials, this arrest was done through a special combination of CCTV footage analysis and human intelligence. Further, the SP Investigation confirmed that the recovered stolen items have been returned to their rightful owners.
